Murano glass jewelry not to miss!

Murano glass jewelry to fit all tastes and styles.

You can wear these rings for any occasion; they are versatile, eye-catching and unique.

murano glass jewelry Alice, author of The Carrot Box Blog, is the artist behind these rings.

Her line of murano glass jewelry called “Glassification” is handcrafted by Alice using Italian and Lauscha glass.

murano glass jewelry She spends hours melting bits of color with her torch creating unusual shapes for her rings. All of them are one-of-a-kind.

Notice that Alice only makes glass rings, she uses no metal whatsoever.

murano glass jewelry Here she tells us why: “It all started because I'm allergic to metals. I can occasionally wear sterling for short periods of time, but never on my fingers — and never anything that only looks like silver or gold. But I'd love glass and plastic even if I weren't allergic to "regular" rings. They're fun. And colorful. And inexpensive... usually”.

She put up her on-line shop to sell her murano glass jewelry.

“The main mission of my shop is to spread glass, plastic and other non-metal rings to as many fabulous people as possible. I try my best to select quality items — if I wouldn't wear it myself, I won't sell it!

I opened up shop because after an exhaustive search of the www — trying to buy rings for my own collection — I realized nobody out there had a site devoted to non-metal rings. Well, now there is, and I've learned I'm not the only one with this obsession”.

murano glass jewelry Alice also finds time to work on her blog, one of the best jewelry blogs around in my opinion. Make sure to check it out at: The Carrot Box. She has the capacity to find incredible talent and share pictures of amazing jewelry.

murano glass jewelry “This is the one part of my site where you'll see metal rings! In case you're wondering, there are no ads here — I just love searching for interesting work, not posting pieces that people have asked me to promote”.

Alice does this for the sheer pleasure of digging out beautiful jewelry! And we are so lucky to see all this too.

Alice thank you, your blog rocks. I love it!
